Our dance socks were developed in close collaboration with experienced professionals from the dance scene.

The specially coordinated material mix of cotton, nylon and elastane ensures that the sock always sits securely on the foot. Whether it's fast turns, jumps or movements close to the floor - SAFERSOX dance socks offer stability and flexibility in perfect harmony. Cotton provides a soft, comfortable feel, while nylon increases durability and elastane guarantees the necessary support and fit. This combination ensures that the socks neither slip off the foot nor have a restrictive effect.

It is important for dancers to feel comfortable in their shoes or socks, especially during long training sessions or intensive performances. Our dance socks are available in two versions - both in the classic crew length and in ancle height. This gives dancers the choice to select the sock height that suits their individual preferences and movement needs. As a special detail, each SAFERSOX dance sock has the phrase ‘MERDE!’ embroidered on the inside - a traditional lucky charm that dancers wish each other before a performance.

The tradition goes back to a time when visitors came to the theatre in horse-drawn carriages: The more ‘Merde’ (horse manure) collected in front of the entrance, the better attended the performance was.
